Robin Webb Wins Race for State Senate

GRAYSON - The Kentucky Democratic Party congratulates Robin Webb on winning the special election for State Senate District 18.

The Kentucky Democratic Party thanks the volunteers and supporters who made the win possible.  Over 400 volunteers made thousands of phone calls and knocked on thousands of doors over the last month to help secure Robin Webb's victory today.

"More than 50 volunteers were on hand for Election Day get out the vote efforts, making phone calls from the KDP headquarters and knocking on doors in the district.  Democrats across the state are energized to take back the State Senate in Kentucky and this race is just the first step," said Kentucky Democratic Party spokesperson Liz Fossett.

"This win is a testament to the fact that the people of the 18th District, like people across the state of Kentucky, are unhappy with the leadership in the Kentucky Senate.  Robin Webb will represent the people of northeastern Kentucky well and she'll help stop David Williams and the rest of the roadblock Republicans," said KDP Chairman Charlie Moore.
